Irish Stamp Duty Rates and Bands

Stamp duty on all residential properties (new and existing) is charged at the following rates:

Aggregate Consideration Rate of Duty First €1,000,000 1% Excess over €1,000,000 2%

Stamp Duty on the purchase of Commercial property is charged at 6.00% for loans over €150,000.
